BC Archival Education and Advisory Service

The AABC's British Columbia Archival Education and Advisory Service is responsible for the management and ongoing development of education opportunities and workshops  and offers advisory services free of charge to archival repositories in British Columbia and to organizations and groups interested in establishing an archives

or developing an existing archival program.

 

Educational Services

▪   Management of Education Opportunities and Workshops

▪   Special educational projects of a province-wide nature

 

Education opportunities and workshops are offered:

▪   On a scheduled basis

▪   By special arrangement with a sponsoring institution or institutions

Advisory Services

▪   Establishing an archives

▪   Policy and procedures development

▪   RAD implementation

▪   Available resources (e.g., publications, educational opportunities, etc.)

▪   Funding sources and application preparation

Advisory services are available:

▪   By phone, mail, or e-mail

▪   By on-site visits

▪   Through speaking engagements at AABC regional meetings or at other meetings or forums
