1-Day Workshop "Records Management 101"
This one-day workshop will introduce participants to the foundational concepts of records management, including business analysis, records inventorying, classification, and scheduling. The course will also place records management in the wider information environment. Participants will learn about international standards such as Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles and ISO15489.

Meals: Please note that coffee breaks will be provided for the workshop but participants must supply their own lunch. There are numerous food options on campus.
Handouts will be supplied to workshop participants.

A series of presentations and poster sessions where the archival and records management communities share their understanding of the challenges of, and solutions for, achieving dominion over the digital, from an individual, organizational, provincial and/or national perspective.

Registration Deadline: The registration deadline for the workshop and conference is April 18, 2017. No refunds will be given after this date. Refunds issued prior to April 18 will incur a processing fee.
Accommdations: There are no pre-booked hotel rooms for this event. Participants are required to make their own arrangements for accommodations.
