Applying for Full Institutional MembershipArchival institutions applying for full AABC institutional membership should first consult the AABC's "Sustainable Archives: Self-Study Guide for Institutional Membership". If any questions arise after consulting the Guide, please contact the Chair of the Membership Committee for assistance. The Guide also acts as an application form, and when completed can be submitted to:

You will be notified by the Chair of the Membership Committee when your application has been received. Please note that consideration of an institutional membership application requires both review by the Membership Committee and Executive approval of the subsequent recommendation. As a result, feedback regarding the status of an application may take upwards of three to four months.
Membership Application FormsWe welcome your participation in the AABC. Please print out and complete the Individual Application Form or the Institutional Application Form for the 2009-2010 Membership Year.
AABC Membership Needs Assessment Survey (2007)A needs assessment survey of both institutional and individual members was conducted in the summer of 2007. The results of the survey are available online.
