Digital Preservation in Action: Building Sustainable Programs and Effective Workflows

Dr. Nancy McGovern and Kari Smith

This year marks twenty years since the release of the Preserving Digital Information report, a seminal work that marks the beginning of the digital preservation community. We now have a growing and evolving set of standards that inform good practice. These companion presentations will talk about the digital preservation management "stack" - a frame for developing sustainable digital preservation at any institution - and leveraging current tools and developments to put together and continually improve digital archives workflows in support of long-term preservation. The presenters look forward to a lively question and answer period.

This project has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada.
