Archivist-South Peace Historical Society (Dawson Creek, BC)-Job Posted

The Archives division of the South Peace Historical Society is seeking a resourceful, energetic person for the position of full-time archivist. The South Peace Historical Society (SPHS) oversees a museum, pioneer village, archives and a genealogical group. It covers the Peace River British Columbia area, south of the Peace River. The archives were first established in 1997 and became the Society's repository for print documents, photographs, and maps pertaining to the region's history. The archives are located in the newly renovated Calvin Kruk Centre for the Arts in downtown Dawson Creek. It features a climate-controlled storage vault and public research space.
