This hands-on workshop will consist of learning units that will focus on pests and preventative measures, creating custom boxes and 4-flap folders, and how to safely encapsulate items. The workshop will also include a discussion forum where participants can share conservation concerns and questions related to the storage and care of archival materials in their holdings.
This workshop is perfect for those working in archives, libraries, and museums with archival materials. Participants will bring home enclosure samples.
Note: workshop participants are responsible for their own lunch and any travel fees related to the workshop. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
