Managing an archives program and all of the necessary day-to-day administrative tasks can feel overwhelming if you find yourself in this role but don’t have experience or training. However taking a step back to establish meaningful strategies and practical approaches can help to create a sound foundation towards success. Join us for this webinar where we will we discuss managing “the big picture” of an archives program including governance and succession planning, relevant policies and procedures, the value of strategic planning, and working through organizational change with staff and volunteers. Guest speaker Christine Meutzner will review the importance of budgeting and discuss how to use a strategic budget, a simple income statement, and a balance sheet.
